Key Responsibilities

Own the codebase and engineering plan for engagements, deciding architecture for both code and AI systems.

Build production LLM applications including agentic systems, retrieval-augmented copilots, and document/image/video analysis.

Create evaluation deliverables such as golden sets, regression tests, and production monitoring, while setting guardrails for privacy and security.

Deploy and run systems on GCP, Azure, or AWS using Docker, CI/CD, and observability tools.

Mentor associates and engineers, and ship reusable firm assets like reference architectures and eval harnesses.

Senior AI Engineer / Forward Deployed Engineer

Reports to the co-founders. You will own the technical delivery of custom AI systems end to end, from architecture through build, evaluation, hardening and production rollout, for portfolio companies and finance firms that cannot afford to get AI wrong. Most weeks are heads-down engineering. On our largest engagements you are forward deployed: attached to the client for part of the week, surfacing the next thing to automate with the strategist.
