Key Responsibilities

Define and implement the scientific methodology for PerenOS’s climate-adaptive landscape engine, from research to production Python code

Establish confidence parameters, data validation frameworks, and criteria for platform abstention in uncertain scenarios

Curate and validate species, trait, and climate datasets (e.g., CHELSA, CMIP6, GBIF) critical to the engine’s functionality

Design and execute validation protocols, including held-out testing and long-term field observation partnerships

Lead a scientific committee and forge collaborations with universities/research institutes to advance PerenOS’s technical rigor

Secure French deeptech certification and research funding (grants, CIFRE theses, CIR) in partnership with the CEO

Recruit, supervise, and mentor the first research engineers and doctoral students

Represent PerenOS’s science to investors, funders, and large clients to drive adoption and credibility
