Key Responsibilities

Build and structure the Mission Software team, defining roles, hiring experts, and developing talent across four domains: crew/cabin systems, mission/autonomy applications, test/ground systems, and vehicle software platform

Set technical standards, ownership boundaries, and cross-program priorities to ensure alignment between prototype and production vehicle software requirements

Ensure crew-facing software meets certification-grade rigor (e.g., DAL-classified displays) while enabling rapid iteration for test and development programs

Lead hands-on software development, code reviews, and system integration for critical vehicle operations, including cockpit displays, autonomy interfaces, and telemetry systems

Collaborate with controls, embedded, simulation, and test teams to ensure seamless integration of software across the entire Seaglider system

Support test operations by analyzing real-time data, troubleshooting issues, and delivering engineering insights within 24 hours of test campaigns

Oversee software deployment, fleet management, and over-the-air updates to maintain operational reliability and performance
