Key Responsibilities

Harden DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines with automated security scanning, compliance-as-code, and short-lived credentials.

Secure the software supply chain by implementing robust signing, SBOM generation, dependency scanning, and vulnerability management.

Define and enforce agent sandboxing, least-privilege execution, and multi-cloud cluster security with zero-trust segmentation.

Own Linux OS and node security for SLURM-based HPC clusters, including kernel patching and host-based detection.

Protect research data and model weights with classification protocols, access controls, and secure handling workflows.

Design security controls for research-data infrastructure, including data provenance, access control, and privacy handling.

Monitor and detect anomalies in identity/workload behavior, egress events, and SIEM audit logs.

Enable secure partnerships with AI labs by navigating compliance audits and frontier model provider standards.

Lead incident response for compute clusters, pipelines, and model artifacts, including playbook development and tabletop exercises.
