Key Responsibilities

Architect and develop embedded firmware using Zephyr RTOS for production systems

Perform board bring-up from first power, including debugging with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers

Design and maintain hardware interfaces (CAN, SPI, I²C, UART, RS422) and networked services (REST APIs, SNMP, OpenAPI)

Implement and optimize TCP/UDP communication layers and secure protocols (authentication, encryption, secure firmware updates)

Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to ensure robust data/control interfaces

Lead root cause analysis for firmware failures and document technical specifications

Develop and debug embedded Linux services on Yocto-based platforms (daemons, drivers, middleware)
