Database administrator (f/m/d) - remote possible

Your tasks
- You design, implement and administer complex database systems (mostly Oracle) for IBYKUS AG internally and for our customers
- As an administrative supervisor, you are the technical contact person for our customers and form the interface to software development, service management and data center operations
- You look after the DBMS, install upgrades, patches and releases, rectify faults and ensure smooth operation
- You create data and performance analyses, derive necessary tuning measures and implement them in a targeted manner
- You actively contribute your knowledge to migrations, interfaces or new solutions and tools
- In the world of database systems, you keep yourself technically fit and contribute to the further development of our technology landscape (virtualizations, containers, ...)
Your profile
- With your personality and experience, you promote partnership-based cooperation internally and externally
- You would like to have a successful degree in computer science, business informatics, media informatics, mathematics or physics or in another natural science; a lateral entry is also possible
- You have initial knowledge in the administration of relational databases (Oracle, MS-SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, etc.) and are very interested in container technologies
- Your written and spoken German and English skills are very good
- We currently use the following technologies: Oracle, MS SQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Apache Tomcat, Weblogic, Apache Webserver, HAProxy, Oracle CloudControl 13c, Nagios, Apache Cloudstack, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Gitlab - the more knowledge you have, the better.
