Key Responsibilities

Own and build the security program, including product security, cloud infrastructure, incident response, and compliance (SOC 2 completion)

Harden AWS infrastructure and accounts with IAM, networking, logging, secrets management, and automated guardrails using Terraform

Establish monitoring, SIEM/XDR, detection engineering, alerting, and incident-response workflows to proactively identify and mitigate threats

Secure applications, APIs, and data workflows through threat modeling, code reviews, vulnerability research, and authentication/authorization controls

Improve container and workload isolation for systems executing untrusted code or handling sensitive data

Lead end-to-end abuse, fraud, and incident response, including containment, investigation, postmortems, and engineering follow-ups

Implement continuous attack-surface management across cloud services, third-party vendors, and externally exposed assets

Complete SOC 2 compliance and manage customer trust work, including control design, evidence collection, policy management, and vendor reviews

Translate contractual/data-license requirements into enforceable controls for access, data use, retention, deletion, isolation, provenance, and auditability
