Own and maintain stable, backward-compatible API contracts across systems
Extract functionality from the PHP core into Python services to improve performance and maintainability
Implement failure design strategies including retries, idempotency, and consistency guarantees
Establish the testing strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and rollout practices
Mentor and set the technical bar for two mid-level engineers
Partner with Platform and Product teams to align architecture with business needs
