Key Responsibilities
Lead, hire, and develop a distributed team of network and infrastructure engineers across multiple countries
Define and execute a multi-year roadmap for network upgrades, including hardware standards, vendor management, and safe cutovers
Collaborate with Security, Cloud, and Workplace teams to integrate network infrastructure with site deployments (AV, meeting rooms, fit-out IT)
Ensure network security controls and compliance with standards like TISAX, ISO 27001, or SOC 2
Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code to streamline manual infrastructure processes
Participate in on-call rotations, escalate P1 incidents, and implement corrective actions post-incident
Travel regularly to Wayve’s sites in Europe, the US, and Japan for hands-on oversight and coordination
Technical Skills Required
