Job Description:

As a member of a specialised Data team where you'll be responsible for developing and managing data-driven services and solutions that standardise and centralise usage data. This role is critical to supporting the creation and enhancement of personalised experiences and facilitating data-driven decision-making across the organisation. You'll collaborate within a communicative, cross-functional, and agile team, leveraging a modern cloud-based technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the storage, processing, and distribution of data generated from millions of daily interactions across various digital platforms.
  • Participate in the design and development of data-driven solutions, such as personalised user offerings, and ensure their reliable operation.
  • Assist in establishing the cloud infrastructure, including designing cloud architecture, configuring and managing cloud components using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and implementing security protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to meet project requirements and continuously enhance processes.


Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Azure based cloud engineering although AWS or GCP experence is also beneficial.
  • Experience with IaC tools ideally Terraform for developing cloud-based services (primarily PaaS, e.g. Data Lake Storage).
  • Familiarity with distributed data processing and analytics (e.g. Databricks or PowerBI) is advantageous.
  • Professional working proficiency in both German and English is required.
