For our Energy Automation Services team, we are looking for a PAC engineer. What are your responsibilities?

  • Responsible for the functional design of secondary systems/solutions, including security, automation and control IEDs.
  • Ensure both functional and technical design of these systems.
  • Testing of secondary systems, including security IEDs
  • Ensuring compatibility with IEC 61850 & IEC 60870-5-104 communication protocols, as well as cyber security.
  • Support the preparation of test plans, protocols and reports, and liaise closely with customers, project engineers and project managers.

Who are you?

As a PAC Engineer in our Energy Automation Services team, you play a crucial role in the design and implementation of systems. In addition, you are a master at switching quickly between various tasks, while always remaining calm under pressure. But what else makes you unique?


  • You have at least a Bachelor's degree in Energy/Electrical Engineering;
  • You have at least 3 years' experience working with secondary products/solutions.
  • You are people-oriented and enjoy working in a team;
  • You are a go-getter - you like taking on new challenges, solving them and finding your way among people;
  • You have a good sense of humour and enjoy your work.

  • 2 years Xelvin contract including competitive salary, holiday allowance, paid holidays and pension.
  • Relocation package from Xelvin: Finding the right new challenge, flight to the Netherlands paid by Xelvin, arrangement of documentation that is needed to work in the Netherlands and guidance from our housing consultant to find accommodation.
  • Salary between € 3500 and € 4500, based on work experience
  • A relocation budget between € 1500 and € 3000
  • 25 paid holidays in addition to public holidays

  • Holiday allowances of 8,33% of yearly salary
