Key Responsibilities
Manage two engineering teams, including Engineering Leads and individual contributors, with 1:1s, performance reviews, and career growth initiatives
Shape technical direction and architecture across teams, providing technical scrutiny on significant decisions while retaining day-to-day ownership with Engineering Leads
Partner with Director to develop Engineering Leads and collaborate with peer Engineering Managers as the team scales
Champion prioritization discipline, ruthless scoping, and incremental delivery of business value
Assess and improve team effectiveness in delivery, health, and growth trajectory, translating insights into actionable strategies
Champion platform stability, operational rigor, and participate in management on-call rotation
Build and scale the team through hiring as engineering grows
Drive AI-native engineering practices, staying fluent with AI coding tools, and leading team-wide adoption
