Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive benefits strategy supporting talent attraction, retention, employee wellbeing, and financial sustainability.
Oversee administration of health, welfare, retirement, wellbeing, leave, and voluntary benefit programs.
Lead annual enrollment strategy, communication, and implementation.
Manage vendor, broker, consultant, carrier, and third-party administrator relationships, including performance expectations, renewals, negotiations, and RFPs.
Provide strategic and operational oversight of the onsite employee health clinic in Warroad, Minnesota.
Monitor benefits costs, claims trends, utilization, clinic performance, and population health metrics to identify opportunities for improved value and cost management.
Ensure compliance with applicable benefit regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, Medicare requirements, and retirement plan regulations.
Partner with internal and external legal counsel on compliance matters, plan documentation, audits, reporting, and regulatory filings.
Develop benefits communication and education strategies that improve employee understanding, engagement, and access to programs.
Lead, coach, and develop the benefits team while collaborating across HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, Safety, Operations, and senior leadership.

Nice to Have
Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site operational environment.
