Key Responsibilities
Take high-uncertainty product questions from teams and translate them into decisions the team acts on
Design and analyze experiments in non-standard setups including delayed treatment, kingdom-level cluster tests, small samples, and heavy-tailed revenue
Own variance reduction, outlier handling, permutation tests, MDE and power, and reporting rules
Estimate effects using causal inference and quasi-experimental designs where classic A/B tests are impossible
Turn one-off analytical solutions into reusable methods including reference documents, dbt data marts, and Tableau dashboards
Serve as the last check before the business acts on a number, validating assumptions behind metrics and test read-outs
Use Python for research when SQL is not enough, including graph algorithms, optimization problems, and simulations
Specify logging for features shipped by teams without their own analyst and cover their ad-hoc questions
