Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day operation, monitoring and maintenance of HPC, cloud and associated IT platforms.
Assist with diagnosing and resolving technical issues, escalating complex incidents appropriately and keeping stakeholders updated.
Contribute to system improvements, automation and the development of efficient operational tools and processes.
Help maintain the stability, availability, security and performance of platforms through disciplined operational practices.
Work with colleagues to understand user and client requirements and support the delivery of practical technical solutions.
Create and maintain clear technical documentation, knowledge articles, operating procedures and handover notes.
Participate in Agile ways of working, team planning, reviews and continuous improvement activities.
Build capability across the team's technology stack through formal learning, self-development and hands-on experience.
Follow IT service management, change control, health and safety, security and quality processes.
