Key Responsibilities
Build and optimize distributed training pipelines for large-scale AI models, including low-rank adapter training
Improve reinforcement-learning workflows by coordinating sampling, reward computation, and weight transfer
Optimize GPU memory usage, parallelism, and communication to maximize training throughput
Implement robust checkpointing, resumption, and worker recovery mechanisms
Validate numerical correctness of losses, gradients, and optimizer behavior across distributed systems
Partner with researchers to integrate new algorithms into the River API
Technical Skills Required
Distributed Systems Engineering Deep Learning Frameworks (PyTorch/JAX) GPU Optimization & Mixed-Precision Training
