Lead the design and development of AI-driven safety perception systems for live video analysis in industrial and construction environments. Own end-to-end technical direction, model lifecycle, and system reliability while mentoring engineers and ensuring compliance with OSHA-aligned safety standards. Shape vision-language and multimodal models for real-time hazard detection, edge-cloud optimization, and responsible AI deployment under field conditions.

Key Highlights

Principal-level individual contributor role with hands-on technical leadership in AI/Computer Vision for safety-critical applications.

Own end-to-end perception stack architecture, model quality, and system reliability for live video hazard detection in industrial sites.

Responsible for evaluation rigor, edge-cloud trade-offs, and responsible-AI controls including explainability and fail-safe mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build production perception systems for object detection, segmentation, tracking, and event understanding from live video feeds.

Develop and optimize vision-language and multimodal AI systems for spatial reasoning, depth analysis, and OSHA-aligned hazard categorization.

Establish automated evaluation baselines, regression gates, and quality controls for detectors, trackers, and agentic AI systems under real site conditions.

Lead architecture reviews, technical mentorship, and high-leverage code contributions for edge and cloud deployments.

Collaborate with Product, Field Engineering, and stakeholders to translate operational challenges into measurable AI capabilities.

Ensure responsible-AI practices, including confidence policies, human-in-the-loop review, and fail-safe mechanisms for high-severity events.
