We are currently recruiting a Cloud Platform Engineer (f/m/d) for our client, a fast-growing, early-stage startup building intelligent AI workflow automation solutions that function as ""Zapier meets Palantir"" for mid-market business operations.
In this position, you will take full ownership of designing, building, and managing the Azure cloud infrastructure that powers their cutting-edge AI platform. Your scope covers everything from spearheading Kubernetes environments and CI/CD pipelines to driving overall system automation and collaborating closely with software and machine learning teams to seamlessly support AI workloads, optimize system costs, and establish rock-solid security practices.
We are looking for a highly autonomous, proactive engineer with 2+ years of hands-on production experience in Cloud Engineering or DevOps, boasting strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Infrastructure as Code, and Docker/Kubernetes, alongside excellent English communication skills.
| WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Take complete technical charge of architecting, deploying, and supporting the Azure cloud environments that host the primary AI platform.
- Design and oversee high-scale container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes to handle live application workloads.
- Establish, deploy, and refine CI/CD automated pipelines to facilitate frictionless software delivery.
- Lead automation efforts by implementing solid Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with Terraform or Bicep.
- Work in close partnership with software and ML engineering teams to smoothly integrate and scale complex AI processing jobs.
- Define and maintain high standards for cloud security, network configuration, in-depth system monitoring, and platform stability.
- Guarantee high availability, cost efficiency, and top performance of live systems to align with growing business requirements.

- At least 3 years of practical experience working as a DevOps, Cloud, Platform, or Site Reliability Engineer.
- In-depth experience running production systems on Microsoft Azure, including sophisticated architecture, network setups, IAM, and security protocols.
- Demonstrated capability in applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts, particularly using Terraform or Bicep in live systems.
- Sound expertise working with container technologies and orchestration, with a primary focus on Docker and Kubernetes.
- Advanced knowledge of setting up and managing CI/CD workflows using systems like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
- Good fundamental knowledge of Linux systems, scripting languages, security best practices, and infrastructure monitoring.
- A proven history of building and running cost-conscious, reliable, and highly scalable production setups.
