About The Role

We are seeking a talented and dedicated WordPress Developer to join Feedinkoo in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will take ownership of our entire marketing site stack, ensuring that every aspect—from pixel-perfect landing pages to robust site performance—is optimized for excellence. You will work closely with our marketing, design, and SEO teams to develop and implement high-impact features that keep Feedinkoo at the forefront of digital innovation. Your expertise will directly influence our online presence, enhancing user experience and boosting engagement. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize the latest web technologies, and contribute to a forward-thinking team committed to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin creation.
• Proven success in improving Core Web Vitals on live websites, with the ability to provide before and after URLs as evidence.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and CSS preprocessors such as SCSS or Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with Gutenberg block development and familiarity with React is preferred.
• Solid understanding of SEO and technical SEO best practices, including Google Search Console, schema markup, sitemaps, robots.txt, and redirects.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git, as well as automated testing and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA).

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, with a minimum of 3 hours of overlap with US Central Time.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-converting landing pages that precisely match UI/UX designs and specifications.
• Create and implement new site sections, including templates, custom post types, blocks, and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
• Identify and resolve issues related to Google Search Console errors, including crawl problems, indexing, schema markup, security, and Core Web Vitals.
• Optimize website performance by conducting plugin audits, implementing critical CSS, and strategizing image delivery and CDN usage.
• Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, WP-CLI, Bedrock, or similar tools to streamline updates and releases.
• Collaborate daily with designers and copywriters, utilizing tools like Figma, Slack, and Loom to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
• Maintain and enhance website security, accessibility, and overall site health to meet industry standards and best practices.
