2. About the Opportunity:
The Senior Analytics Engineer role is focused on owning and developing the analytics and data modeling for go-to-market (GTM) activities. This position involves defining and maintaining comprehensive funnel models that track customer progression from initial contact through activation to paying customer status across both self-serve and sales channels. The role is critical for providing actionable insights that guide marketing, sales, and product teams, enabling data-driven decision making and efficient GTM execution.
3. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a unified GTM data model with clear definitions for accounts, activated workspaces, and pipeline stages.
- Model the self-serve customer funnel end-to-end, tracking user progression and drop-off points.
- Model the sales funnel comprehensively, incorporating real Salesforce data for accurate stage conversion and velocity analysis.
- Build and document marketing attribution models accepted by marketing and sales teams, including first-touch, last-touch, and multi-touch.
- Calculate unit economics such as CAC, payback, LTV/CAC, and ROI by channel and segment.
- Develop and deploy reporting layers that empower GTM teams to access insights independently.
- Support and shape the GTM operational rhythm including pipeline reviews, funnel meetings, and board reporting.

4. Requirements:
- Minimum four years experience building production analytics models using dbt on cloud data warehouses with version control and testing.
- Proficiency in SQL and intermediate Python for API integrations and data enrichment.
- Experience creating and maintaining semantic layers in tools like Omni or Looker.
- Proven work with GTM teams on funnel conversion, attribution, and unit economics using CRM data (Salesforce or HubSpot).
- Familiarity with GTM systems such as Salesforce, Amplitude, Segment, and HubSpot.
- Experience in product-led or self-serve business models involving activation, trial conversion, and usage-based revenue.
- Technical background in engineering or data, including coding and deploying own work.
- Comfort with AI-native development environments.
