About the Role

You'll write the code that turns developers discovering Firecrawl into developers who can't live without it. This is a full-stack engineering role pointed entirely at growth: you will own the signup, activation, onboarding, and conversion experience, and you'll be measured on the funnel metrics you move, not just the features you ship.
You will report directly to our VP of Revenue and Success and own real conversion outcomes from day one. We operate at an absurd level of urgency because the window for what we're building won't stay open forever.

What You'll Do
Own the growth surfaces end to end: signup, activation, onboarding, and conversion flows.
Instrument the funnel, run experiments, and ship the changes that move real business metrics.
Build full-stack, from the frontend a developer first touches to the backend that powers it.
Treat conversion and activation as your core number—own it, measure it, and move it.
Work close to the data, form hypotheses, test them, and iterate rapidly on what works.

What We're Looking For
Experience: 5 to 12 years of experience as a full-stack engineer with hands-on growth work as an IC at an early- or growth-stage startup.
Track Record: You've personally owned a conversion, activation, or funnel metric and moved it, rather than just shipping features someone else measured.
Scientific Mindset: You approach growth through hypothesis, experimentation, measurement, and iteration, with real A/B testing experience under your belt.
Tech Stack Proficiency: Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js. Bonus experience with Tailwind CSS, Vercel, PostgreSQL, event tracking tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog), and the Anthropic Claude API / production LLMs.
Developer Empathy: Experience building developer-facing products, SDKs, playgrounds, docs surfaces, or APIs.
AI-Native Workflow: Fluent using AI coding tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code) to ship production code faster.
Tenure & Pace: A track record of staying with your work long enough to see it through, combined with a bias for speed and execution.
