Job Description
This role is being recruited by CoffeeSpace on behalf of an anonymous fintech startup that operates a double-sided marketplace for trading cards.
We’re identifying a small number of exceptional senior fullstack engineers from our network. If there’s a strong fit, we’ll introduce you directly to the founding team.
Location: United States / Remote
Compensation: $140K - $180K base + competitive equity
Employment type: Full-time
Visa: Open to visa transfers(e.g. OPT, H1B)

About the role
You will be responsible for building the financial engine that powers the marketplace's payments infrastructure. This includes processing large ACH transactions and developing new financial products. The role involves working primarily on the backend with Python, while also engaging with frontend technologies like React and React Native.
You'll join a small, focused team of engineers dedicated to the payments infrastructure, collaborating closely on a ticketing basis to address complex challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Process large-value transactions through integrations with Stripe and banking partners
- Build and maintain a custom double-entry ledger system
- Develop new ledgers for future financial products
- Work primarily with Python on the backend and React/React Native on the frontend
- Collaborate within a small payments pod to deliver solutions
