Key Responsibilities

Administer Oracle database environments across versions 10g, 11g, 12c, and 19c

Support Oracle Engineered Systems including Oracle Database Appliance (ODA) and Exadata

Lead database upgrades and migrations to Oracle 19c

Optimize database performance through tuning and diagnostics

Manage backup and recovery using RMAN for robust disaster recovery

Maintain high availability and resilience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, partitioning, and compression

Monitor database environments using Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control

Provide system-administrator-level support across at least two platforms (Linux/OEL, Solaris, AIX, HP-UX)

Support consulting engagements including implementations, upgrades, and troubleshooting

Estimate and deliver work accurately with realistic effort estimates and clear commitments

Document technical work and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders

Solve complex technical challenges with analytical and creative problem-solving

Collaborate effectively in distributed project teams and contribute to a fast-paced consulting environment

Provide flexible technical support including occasional non-business-hours work when required
