Seeking a FPGA Engineering Manager for a high growth capital equipment manufacturer in the North Reading, MA area.
The FPGA Engineering Manager would be responsible guiding a team of 4-6 engineers through the design and verification of next-generation FPGAs, while balancing technical leadership and remaining a hands-on contributor, too!

Responsibilities
- Lead 2-3 simultaneous FPGA development projects from concept to completion.
- Direct and oversee distributed/remote engineering resources to ensure seamless delivery.
- Manage project schedules, track budgets, and maintain optimal staffing levels using a mix of full-time and contract resources.
- Serve as the primary FPGA representative on cross-functional project core teams and at executive program review
- Partner with interdisciplinary engineering and business teams to align FPGA/IP deliverables with product requirements.
- Contribute directly to RTL block coding and FPGA implementation as project needs arise.
- Deliver technical support and root-cause analysis for hardware sustaining issues.
- Manage a direct team of 4-6 engineers, handling goal setting, performance coaching, and compensation reviews.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to optimize FPGA development workflows
