Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Python Developer with a strong interest in software development, back-end systems, APIs, databases, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will assist in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Python-based applications while collaborating with experienced developers, QA engineers, and technical teams.

• Work with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Integrate applications with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Participate in software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve basic application performance issues.
• Use Git for version control and team collaboration.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
• Assist with application deployment and production support.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and product teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Follow application security, coding, and data-protection standards.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Python programming fundamentals.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and client-server architecture.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git and version-control workflows.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of software development and testing concepts.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to MongoDB or another NoSQL database.
• Familiarity with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, or Requests.
• Basic knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerised applications.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools and deployment processes.
• Understanding of Linux commands and basic system administration.
• Familiarity with unit-testing frameworks such as Pytest or Unittest.
• Basic knowledge of authentication methods such as OAuth or JWT.
• Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Internship, academic project, freelance, or hands-on experience in Python development.
