You'll work with a collaborative remote team, learn best practices, and contribute to real projects. Ideal for recent graduates or those with 0-2 years of experience.

Full Description

Hiredbuddy is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Android Developer to join our growing engineering team. As an entry-level developer, you will work closely with senior engineers to design, build, and maintain high-quality Android applications that serve our users across various industries. This is a remote position, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with a distributed team.

In this role, you will be responsible for participating in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment. You will write clean, maintainable code in Kotlin and Java, using the Android SDK and modern architectural patterns such as MVVM. You will also integrate RESTful APIs, manage local data storage with SQLite or Room, and ensure app performance and responsiveness. You will have the opportunity to work on real projects that impact our product roadmap, while receiving mentorship and guidance from experienced developers.

We value curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a collaborative spirit. You will be expected to actively participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends. You will also work with tools like Git, Gradle, and Android Studio on a daily basis. While we expect you to have a foundational understanding of Android development, we are more interested in your problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for mobile technology.

Our tech stack includes Kotlin, Java, RxJava, Dagger, Retrofit, and Firebase, among others. You will have the chance to expand your skills and grow into a more senior role over time. We believe in investing in our employees, so we provide access to online courses, conferences, and a learning budget to support your continuous growth.

If you are passionate about building amazing mobile experiences and want to kickstart your career in a supportive, remote-friendly environment, Hiredbuddy is the place for you. Join us in shaping the future of mobile solutions.
