About the Company:

Our client is an Abu Dhabi-based technology company. Further information will be shared with shortlisted candidates at the appropriate stage of the recruitment process.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and dependable HR Specialist to independently manage the company’s complete HR function. As the sole HR professional, the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for employees and management and will take ownership of recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR operations, compliance, payroll coordination, performance processes and HR reporting.

This role requires sound judgement, discretion, strong UAE HR knowledge and the confidence to establish practical processes while remaining hands-on with daily operational work.

Key Responsibilities:

·    Independently manage day-to-day HR operations and maintain an organized, responsive and confidential HR function.

·    Lead the full recruitment cycle, including workforce requirements, job advertisements, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offers and onboarding.

·    Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, confirmation letters, salary certificates, disciplinary correspondence and other employee documentation.

·    Coordinate visas, work permits, medical examinations, Emirates ID requirements, insurance enrolment, renewals, cancellations and employee exits with relevant authorities and service providers.

·    Maintain complete and accurate employee records, personnel files, leave balances, attendance information and document-expiry trackers.

·    Use Odoo confidently for employee records, recruitment, onboarding, attendance, leave, HR workflows and reporting; maintain accurate data and guide employees on correct usage.

·    Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, attendance, leave, deductions, allowances, final settlements and WPS-related information with Finance and management.

·    Advise management and employees on UAE Labour Law, internal policies, disciplinary processes, grievances and workplace matters.

·    Manage onboarding, probation reviews, performance-review cycles, training coordination, employee engagement and offboarding.

·    Draft, implement and regularly update HR policies, procedures, forms, employee communications and the employee handbook.

·    Prepare headcount, recruitment, turnover, leave, attendance and other HR reports for management; highlight risks and required actions.

·    Support Emiratisation and other applicable UAE employment-compliance requirements when required.

·    Handle sensitive employee and company information with strict confidentiality and professional judgement.

Qualifications & Experience:

·    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.

·    3–5 years of progressive generalist HR experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on HR experience in the UAE.

·    Demonstrated experience independently managing multiple HR functions with limited day-to-day supervision.

·    Practical knowledge of UAE Labour Law, MOHRE requirements, WPS, employment documentation, visa processes and government procedures.

·    Hands-on ability to use Odoo for HR operations is required; experience with Odoo Employees, Recruitment, Attendance, Time Off or related modules is strongly preferred.

·    Strong recruitment, employee-relations, payroll-coordination, policy-writing and HR-records experience.

·    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

·    Excellent written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage.

·    CIPD, SHRM or another recognized HR qualification is an advantage.

·    Currently residing in the UAE and able to work on-site in Abu Dhabi.

Compensation & Benefits:

AED 8,000–9,000 per month, all-inclusive, depending on UAE HR experience, independent HR ownership and Odoo proficiency. Benefits include employment visa, medical insurance and annual return air ticket in accordance with company policy.
