Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and extend automated test frameworks for UI, API, and backend systems

Translate manual test cases and business requirements into executable automated test scripts

Identify, log, track, and retest software defects using Jira, collaborating with developers to accelerate bug resolution

Execute and automate RESTful API tests using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright

Run automated test suites, analyze failures, maintain test logs, and provide detailed quality metric reports

Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, story refinement, stand-ups) to define acceptance criteria and test strategies

Technical Skills Required

Python Test Automation Frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, Appium) API Testing (Postman, REST Assured)
