Key Responsibilities
Understand app features, workflows, business rules, and backend/API dependencies
Define and maintain test strategy, test cases, and checklists for all features and workflows
Perform manual functional, integration, UI/UX, exploratory, and regression testing
Validate end-to-end workflows across mobile, backend, APIs, and third-party integrations
Test on multiple devices, platforms, and OS versions (real devices + simulators/emulators)
Execute smoke/sanity tests for new builds and pre-release validation
Validate store release builds (Play Store / App Store) including metadata, links, and deeplinks
Support UAT with product team and report defects with detailed logs and reproducible steps
Set up and maintain automation frameworks (UI + API) for regression and smoke tests
Automate core workflows (login, signup, payments, search, checkout, notifications, etc.)
Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines for nightly and pre-release runs
Create test data setup/teardown scripts for stable automation runs
Generate and share test reports with coverage, pass/fail results, and screenshots
Continuously improve automation scripts for speed, reliability, and maintainability
Track and report QA metrics (test coverage, defect density, automation health)
