Key Responsibilities

Design and deploy browser-based AI agents to automate complex compliance workflows (KYC, KYB, AML, transaction monitoring)

Build and improve core compliance logic for financial institutions, ensuring reliability in production environments

Develop end-to-end cloud systems (Python + AWS) and experiment with novel AI models and agentic workflows

Collaborate directly with customers and prospects to gather requirements and refine product solutions

Contribute to technical and product decisions as the company scales, maintaining high quality and edge-case coverage

Job Description

This role is being recruited by CoffeeSpace on behalf of a fast-growing, YC-backed AI startup building AI compliance analysts for banks and fintechs.

We’re looking for an exceptional senior engineer with strong end-to-end product ownership, startup experience, and the ability to operate with significant autonomy.

Location: San Francisco, CA

Compensation: $240k–$300k base + competitive equity

Employment type: Full-time

Work setup: On-site, 5 days per week

Visa: Open to visa transfers, including OPT and H-1B transfers
