Key Highlights

Design, build, and maintain backend and real-time capabilities within a large-scale Ruby on Rails application

Develop and improve portfolio planning functionality, including work item hierarchies, status rollups, capacity planning, and related planning experiences

Improve PostgreSQL performance and scalability through query and write optimization, indexing, denormalization, partitioning, and the appropriate use of technologies such as Elasticsearch or ClickHouse

Key Responsibilities

Partner with product managers and engineers to understand user needs, shape requirements, evaluate trade-offs, and break complex initiatives into incremental, shippable solutions

Design, build, and maintain backend and real-time capabilities within a large-scale Ruby on Rails application, including GraphQL and REST APIs and subscriptions

Develop and improve portfolio planning functionality, including work item hierarchies, status rollups, capacity planning, and related planning experiences
