Key Responsibilities

Round the clock threat monitoring and detection

Analysis of suspicious, malicious, and abnormal behavior

Alert triage, initial assessment, incident validation, severity and urgency determination

Prioritization of security alerts and creation of incidents per SOPs

Reporting and escalation to stakeholders

Post-incident analysis

Consistent incident triage and recommendations using playbooks

Development and maintenance of incident management and response policies and procedures

Preservation of security alerts and incident artifacts for forensic purposes

Adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPIs

Reduction in Mean Time to Detection and Response (MTTD & MTTR)
