Key Responsibilities
Own approved customer projects end to end: gather and clarify requirements, design solution, write scoping and requirements documentation, build, test, ship, and support
Build and improve internal tooling for Onfleet teams applying same quality and documentation standards
Design and implement solutions primarily in TypeScript/Node.js and Python, with agent-assisted work in Go and Rust where existing Solutions code requires it
Develop against Onfleet's APIs, webhooks, and integration surfaces, and debug across platform and customer systems
Communicate with customers throughout delivery: set expectations, report progress, handle scope questions, explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders
Build and continually improve agentic development workflow from requirements through implementation, testing, and review
Drive quality through disciplined verification and review of own and agent-produced code with unit and integration tests
Work in sprint cadence using Jira: scope and ticket own projects, give reliable estimates, communicate proactively, follow through on commitments
Support and troubleshoot deployed Solutions builds in production including builds not originally authored
Identify patterns across custom builds and flag productization opportunities
