Plexus has partnered with a high-growth fintech building next-generation payment infrastructure for global money movement. They're looking for a Lead Backend Engineer to help build scalable payment systems, APIs, and financial infrastructure used by businesses worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Build payment processing systems and integrations with payment gateways.
• Develop secure, reliable infrastructure for cross-border payments and settlement.
• Improve performance, scalability, and reliability across backend services.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver new features.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript & Node.js.
• Experience building payments APIs, payment gateways, or financial systems.
• Strong understanding of API design and distributed systems.
