Cloud Security Analyst (AI Training)
About The Role
Alignerr partners with the world's leading AI research labs to build and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. Right now, we're looking for experienced cloud security practitioners to help us train AI systems that reason accurately about real-world cloud threats, misconfigurations, and incidents.
This isn't a typical security role. You'll be applying your hard-won production experience to shape how AI understands cloud security — helping it think the way a seasoned practitioner actually does.

- Analyze cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks, misconfigurations, and failure patterns
- Review and evaluate IAM policies, networking configurations, storage permissions, and container security setups
- Classify security gaps and vulnerabilities based on real-world impact, blast radius, and business risk
- Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning to ensure it reflects how cloud incidents actually unfold
- Provide structured expert feedback that directly improves AI security capabilities

- 2+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments in production
- Solid understanding of cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security across one or more major cloud platforms
- Experience identifying and reasoning about real-world misconfigurations and security incidents
- Able to clearly articulate blast radius, risk exposure, and business impact of security issues
- Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on task-based assignments
