About the Role

Hiredbuddy is an AI data annotation and labeling platform that helps AI labs and researchers build better models. We are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer to join our remote team and contribute to the training of AI systems that write, review, and improve frontend code. This is a unique opportunity to apply your development skills in a new way—helping AI understand the nuances of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate AI-generated frontend code for syntax, logic, and performance.
• Annotate code samples with labels such as error types, quality ratings, and best practice adherence.
• Write clear, concise reference answers for frontend-related prompts.
• Create and refine prompts to test AI understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.
• Identify edge cases and ambiguous scenarios in code and document them for model training.
• Provide feedback on AI outputs to help improve model accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with other annotators and team leads to ensure consistency and quality.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of frontend development experience
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with at least one modern framework (React, Vue, Angular)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot subtle errors
• Excellent written communication skills in English
• Ability to follow guidelines and maintain consistency
• Basic understanding of responsive design and accessibility
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
