About The Role
We are seeking experienced E-EFMP UI/UX Designers to join our dynamic team supporting enterprise applications within a large federal and Department of Defense-aligned mission environment. In this fully remote position, you will play a critical role in designing intuitive and accessible user experiences that meet the complex needs of government stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include creating wireframes, prototypes, conducting user research, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate mission requirements into polished, human-centered designs. This role demands a strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards, and the ability to work effectively within Agile development processes. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that digital services are both functional and user-friendly, ultimately supporting the agency’s mission objectives.
Qualifications
- Must hold an active Secret clearance supported by a Tier 3 background investigation
- Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Digital Arts, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, human-centered design, or digital interface development
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and user research methodologies
- Knowledge of accessibility design standards (WCAG, Section 508)
- Experience conducting usability testing and user research
- Experience collaborating with engineering, product, and business teams

- Develop wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user journey maps for enterprise applications
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions

- Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes using industry-standard tools
- Document interaction patterns, navigation structures, and visual design guidelines
