Job Title: Quality Associate (QA Tester)Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Associate (QA Tester) to support the quality assurance and validation of WalkMe digital adoption solutions embedded within Quality Systems. This short-term role focuses on ensuring accuracy, usability, compliance, and readiness for release in GxP-regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Execute QA testing of WalkMe content such as SmartTips, ShoutOuts, Launchers, and Checklists in Quality Systems test and sandbox environments.
  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of WalkMe solutions by updating existing builds and performing low-complexity development tasks.
  • Validate WalkMe behavior against defined requirements, business rules, and intended user workflows.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure new or updated WalkMe content does not negatively impact existing guidance.
  • Document and communicate defects, usability issues, and performance concerns to WalkMe developers.
  • Verify selector stability, conditional logic, triggers, and visibility rules across supported browsers and system states.
  • Ensure alignment of WalkMe content with SOPs, work instructions, and quality expectations.
  • Provide QA feedback for go/no-go readiness prior to production releases.
  • Maintain clear and auditable QA documentation, including test cases, results, and defect tracking.
  • Participate in walkthroughs, defect triage discussions, and release planning as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Experience performing QA or UAT testing for software, digital tools, or enterprise systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured test scenarios.
  • Familiarity with regulated or compliance-driven environments such as GxP or Quality Systems.
  • Ability to clearly document issues, reproduction steps, and expected vs. actual results.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working in a cross-functional, matrixed team environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience testing WalkMe content or other in-application guidance/digital adoption tools is preferred.
  • Exposure to Quality Systems such as QMS, document management, training systems, or change control platforms.
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX concepts and end-user workflows.
  • Experience working in Agile or ticket-based workflows such as JIRA or similar tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment involves collaborating closely with WalkMe developers and Quality System stakeholders. You will operate within a cross-functional, matrixed team, using tools such as JIRA for issue tracking. The role requires comfort with navigating and testing within web-based applications, following defined workflows, and executing testing steps efficiently.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Foster City, CA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
