About the role
The Global Head of IT is a senior executive responsible for the strategic direction, implementation, and governance of the organisations information and technology systems. Operating across 14 countries with a user base of 2,000 employees, you will ensures technology investments are aligned with business objectives, foster innovation, and deliver measurable value. This role requires a visionary leader who can balance global standardisation with regional flexibility.
The role is based in France and full remote. Possible international travel expected (25–35%) to support global operations.
Role key objectives
Strategic Technology Leadership
- Define and execute a multi-year global IT strategy aligned with corporate goals across all operating countries.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board, and C-Suite on technology trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and competitive advantage.
- Establish a future-ready technology roadmap encompassing cloud, AI, automation, and data analytics.
Global IT Operations & Governance
- Oversee the design, deployment, and reliability of IT infrastructure services
- Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks to ensure consistent service delivery globally.
- Manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective procurement and vendor management.
- Define SLA standards and ensure uptime for mission-critical systems and enterprise applications.
- Align with Modaxo group IT and IS strategy and enterprise solutions.
- Implementation of group level initiatives.

Innovation & Digital Transformation
- Champion adoption of emerging technologies including AI/ML, cloud computing, IoT, and low-code/no-code platforms.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the global IT function.
- Lead enterprise-wide ERP, CRM, and collaboration platform modernization efforts.
- Drive data-driven decision-making by establishing robust analytics and business intelligence capabilities.
People & Organizational Leadership
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing Enterprise Technology Services team.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between IT, Finance, Operations, Legal, and HR departments.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Negotiate and manage strategic contracts with global technology vendors, cloud providers, and managed service partners.
- Evaluate and oversee outsourcing relationships to optimize cost, quality, and service delivery.
- Ensure vendor compliance with organizational security, data privacy, and regulatory standards.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Master's degree or MBA with technology focus strongly preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 5+ years at HEAD OF IT/VP/Director level.
- Proven track record leading IT teams of 50+ professionals across multiple geographies.
- Experience managing multi-million dollar IT budgets in a multinational corporate environment.
- Certifications: CISA, PMP, TOGAF, ITIL v4 Master, or equivalent highly desirable.
