This is a fully remote, 4–5 month contract opportunity focused on designing, deploying, and automating cloud environments while supporting CI/CD processes and Infrastructure as Code best practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting to drive cloud infrastructure deployments, automation, and operational improvements.
Responsibilities of the Cloud Engineer:

- 3+ years of Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Experience with scripting languages including Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of cloud networking, security, and automation best practices.
- Experience troubleshooting cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within remote team environments.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
