Job Description
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Payroll Consultant to support the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of PeopleSoft Payroll. The ideal candidate will have strong functional and technical knowledge of payroll processing, tax updates, benefits integration, and payroll compliance.
- 13-18 month contract
- Part-time: 20 hours per week
- 100% Remote
- Configure, maintain, and support PeopleSoft Payroll applications.
- Analyze business requirements and implement payroll system enhancements.
- Support payroll processing, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Configure earnings, deductions, taxes, direct deposit, and payroll calendars.
- Perform payroll testing for patches, tax updates, and system enhancements.
- Troubleshoot payroll calculation, integration, and interface issues.
- Partner with HR, Benefits, Finance, and IT teams to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Develop and maintain payroll reports, queries, and documentation.
- Support year-end processing, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in system upgrades, implementations, and production support activities.

- 5+ years of PeopleSoft Payroll experience.
- Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and Time & Labor.
- Must have previous Healthcare experience.
- Experience with payroll tax updates, retro pay, garnishments, and payroll reconciliation.
- Knowledge of PeopleTools, SQL, Query Manager, and Application Engine is preferred.
- Experience supporting payroll integrations with HR, Benefits, Time & Labor, and Financial systems.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
