Position: Quantexa Data Engineer
Employment Type: Permanent
Location: Singapore (Visa Sponsorship Available)
Experience: 3–8 Years
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data processing pipelines using Spark and Scala.
- Implement data transformation, aggregation, and enrichment processes for analytics and compliance use cases.
- Develop and support Quantexa-based solutions for AML and Financial Crime initiatives.
- Integrate and optimize Elasticsearch for indexing, searching, and data retrieval.
- Build scalable and fault-tolerant applications using Spark DataFrames, Datasets, and RDDs.
- Deploy solutions on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and platform performance.
- Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and compliance standards are met.

Mandatory
- Strong hands-on experience with Quantexa implementations and integrations.
- Apache Spark and Scala development experience.
- Hadoop ecosystem experience (HDFS, Hive, etc.).
- Elasticsearch administration, indexing, and query optimization.
- OpenShift/Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Bitbucket, and Ansible.
Preferred
- Banking, AML, KYC, Compliance, or Financial Crime domain experience.
- Experience with Python or Java.
- Exposure to Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.
- Cloud experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Education
