We Are Seeking: Cloud DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a hands-on Cloud DevOps Engineer to join a team responsible for deploying, maintaining, and supporting critical platforms across both cloud and on-premises environments.
You will work on a diverse technology stack including Kubernetes, GitLab, AWS, and internally developed platforms, helping to improve automation, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence across the firm's infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, maintain, and support cloud and on-premises infrastructure platforms
- Manage and optimise containerised environments using Kubernetes and related technologies
- Develop and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code and automated configuration management solutions
- Support distributed production systems and improve platform reliability and observability
- Administer and optimise AWS environments and core cloud services
- Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to improve operational efficiency and scalability
- Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and automation initiatives across the technology estate

Requirements
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and container technologies (e.g. EKS, Docker, Podman)
- Experience developing and supporting CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI experience is highly beneficial)
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Experience supporting distributed production systems
- Strong Linux administration experience, particularly within RHEL or Rocky Linux environments
- Good understanding of core AWS services, including:
- VPC networking and security
- EC2 deployment and scaling
- IAM
- Storage services including S3, EFS, EBS, and FSx
- Experience with monitoring and observability tooling
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across technical teams
Highly Relevant Experience
- Administration of GitLab (including on-premises environments)
- Exposure to Snowflake and/or ClickHouse Cloud
- Experience with monitoring platforms such as CloudWatch, Coralogix, OpenTelemetry, or similar observability tooling
- Programming experience using Python, C#, Rust, or similar languages
- Experience supporting cloud platforms within financial services, trading, buyside or other performance-sensitive environments is strongly preferred
