Riverside Medical Group (RMG), in collaboration with Riverside Regional Medical Center (RRMC), is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a well-established and expanding surgical program in Newport News, Virginia. This role focuses primarily on adult cardiac surgery, with thoracic coverage responsibilities while on call at RRMC, a modern 450-bed, Level II Trauma Center serving the greater Hampton Roads region.
Our CT Surgery team is fully integrated within a large, multi-specialty network and benefits from strong collaboration across surgical, cardiology, and critical care services. RRMC and RMG continue to grow regional access to advanced cardiovascular care, creating an excellent opportunity for a motivated surgeon to join a thriving and supportive environment.
Highlights Of The Practice Include
- Established, high-functioning team including CT Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Structural Interventional Cardiology, 12 cardiologists (interventional and non-invasive), 4 vascular surgeons, and a robust inpatient/outpatient APP support team
- Strong culture of collaboration with active physician input in program development and system growth
- Dedicated and experienced hospitalist service and comprehensive specialty support at RRMC
- Fully integrated Epic electronic medical record across inpatient and outpatient settings
