Create and maintain comprehensive regression, smoke, sanity, and functional test suites

Conduct database validation through SQL queries to verify data integrity end-to-end
Collaborate with developers to improve testability, identify defects early, and promote quality assurance practices
Maintain detailed test documentation, traceability, and defect tracking records
Perform root-cause analysis on production issues to facilitate continuous quality improvements
Align automation strategies with DevOps and release management processes
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to ensure quality objectives are met
Continuously enhance QA processes, frameworks, and engineering practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks for enterprise web applications, APIs, and distributed systems. You will work closely with development teams to enhance test coverage, embed automation into CI/CD pipelines, and accelerate the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience with modern automation tools and frameworks, along with a comprehensive understanding of testing strategies such as risk-based testing, exploratory testing, and continuous testing within Agile environments. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Four or more years of QA automation experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
  • Experience automating REST APIs using frameworks such as REST Assured or Postman/Newman
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining regression, smoke, sanity, and functional test suites
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
  • Solid SQL skills for database validation and data integrity checks
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
