AI Architect — US

We're hiring an AI Architect for a US-headquartered AI and data consultancy — around 200 people, founded by operators rather than career consultants, and certified across the major cloud and AI platforms. The work is enterprise GenAI: real applications, in production, for clients who depend on them.

This is a hands-on architecture role. You'll own design decisions end to end rather than inherit someone else's, and you'll still be writing code

What you'll do

Design and build AI applications on Azure — AKS, Container Apps, Blob Storage, Document Intelligence, AI Foundry, VNETs. Develop full-stack using C#, Python and React, with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, Entity Framework Core and FastAPI. Build systems that are secure, resilient and cost-efficient at scale. Work directly with data scientists and engineers to turn early-stage ideas into things that actually ship. Lead deployment and optimisation in Azure, with a genuine eye on cost and maintainability.

What we're looking for

Strong software engineering background with real depth in C#, Python and React (TypeScript). Hands-on Azure experience — AKS, networking, AI Foundry/AI Studio. Practical work with AI frameworks such as LangChain and Semantic Kernel, plus RAG, agentic patterns and workflow orchestration. Solid modern practices: containerisation, CI/CD, API design. A track record of designing secure, scalable, maintainable systems.

A background in data science or a formal engineering discipline is a strong advantage given the scientific nature of the work.
