Job Description

Company Description

At Savages Corp Limited, we enable manufacturers to thrive in the era of Industry 4.0 by combining cutting-edge technology with deep compliance expertise. Our platforms and services help manufacturing enterprises harness the power of data intelligence, automation, and connected systems to drive smarter decision-making, optimize operations, and accelerate digital transformation. We ensure end-to-end compliance and data protection through robust infrastructure solutions, while streamlining regulatory and operational processes to reduce risk and increase efficiency. Beyond compliance, we design and deliver scalable applications and advanced analytics that empower factories, supply chains, and production environments to become more intelligent, adaptive, and resilient.

We are seeking a freelance, full-time Business Process Analyst (Manufacturing & Automotive) to support the integration of manufacturing systems into our Industry 4.0 data ecosystem. The role focuses on understanding and documenting existing production processes and data sources, helping ensure that relevant factory information can be reliably connected to modern data and analytics platforms.

The Role

We are looking for a highly analytical Business Process Analyst to support our Industry 4.0 project. In this role, you will act as a key interface between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, ensuring that complex manufacturing needs are translated into clear, actionable technical specifications. You will work within the BA workstream to bridge the gap between machines, data, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization: Analyze, document, and optimize business and production processes in manufacturing and automotive environments.
  • Stakeholder Management: Lead and facilitate interviews and workshops across business, operations, and IT to extract critical requirements.
  • Requirements Engineering: Translate complex business needs into clear, structured business and functional requirements (BRDs, user stories, and decision papers).
  • Strategic Support: Support the definition of target operating models, solution concepts, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Documentation & Quality: Develop high-quality process models and ensure alignment, consistency, and quality of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk & Impact: Proactively identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities; contribute to business cases and impact assessments.
  • Information Hygiene: Maintain project boards (Jira/Notion) to ensure all roadmaps and deliverables are public and accessible to the team.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a Business Process Analyst, ideally within manufacturing or automotive environments.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of production, quality management, logistics, and/or supply chain processes.
  • Methodology: Solid experience in requirements engineering, analysis methodologies, and structured documentation.
  • Mindset: Ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on and execution-oriented; strong analytical skills combined with a pragmatic, solution-focused mindset.
  • Communication: Confidence in engaging with stakeholders across different functions and seniority levels.
  • Languages: Professional level of German and English (C1).
  • Independence: Proven ability to work independently in remote setups and manage priorities effectively.

Requirements & Travel

  • Travel: Ability to travel to client sites.
  • Compliance: Valid passport and eligible for rapid visa processing.

What We Offer

  • Cutting-Edge Projects: Work on Industry 4.0 projects transforming modern manufacturing.
  • Remote: Fully remote work (CET ±2) and regular site visits.
  • Expert Collaboration: Work alongside experts in data, AI, and automation.
  • Ownership: Minimal bureaucracy and a high degree of ownership over your deliverables.
