Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated functional, regression, and API test suites using Tricentis Tosca
Design and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests using NeoLoad
Develop automated API contract tests for internal and partner-facing REST services
Integrate automated testing into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines with GitHub, Jira, and QTest
Validate application functionality, business rules, API integrations, and data processing across enterprise systems
Develop data-driven test scenarios using Oracle SQL and application datasets
Monitor automated test execution, analyze results, and support defect identification and resolution
Maintain automated test assets, repositories, and documentation to support long-term sustainment
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DevOps engineers to ensure complete test coverage and continuous quality improvement
Support implementation of AI-assisted test generation and automation capabilities where appropriate

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Test Automation Engineer to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Enrollment System (VESEE 2.0), VistA REE, and EDB/IVM modernization efforts. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated functional, regression, API, and performance test solutions using Tricentis Tosca, NeoLoad, and QTest. The Test Automation Engineer will work closely with development, DevOps, and quality assurance teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and ensure comprehensive test coverage across enterprise applications. This position will be fully remote within the United States.
