This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and readiness of enterprise healthcare software solutions through rigorous verification and validation practices.
The position plays a key role in testing complex imaging platforms, ensuring products meet functional, performance, interoperability, and compliance standards.
You will collaborate with engineering, product, DevOps, architecture, implementation, and support teams to deliver high-quality releases.
The role focuses on end-to-end system validation, integration testing, upgrade qualification, and risk identification throughout the software lifecycle.

Accountabilities
The Quality Assurance Engineer will provide independent quality oversight across software development and release processes, ensuring that healthcare technology solutions meet strict reliability and compliance expectations. The role requires strong ownership of testing strategies, system validation, documentation, and collaboration across technical teams.
- Develop and execute verification and validation strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure product requirements are fully tested and traceable.
- Perform system, integration, regression, and defect verification testing across enterprise software solutions.
- Validate application workflows, integrations, databases, storage components, and external healthcare systems.
- Conduct installation, upgrade, migration, and deployment qualification testing to ensure reliable customer implementations.
- Assess release readiness, identify quality risks, and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve release-blocking issues.
- Execute performance and scalability testing by analyzing throughput, response times, resource utilization, and system stability.
- Create and maintain test documentation, execution reports, traceability records, and verification evidence required for quality processes and audits.
- Validate healthcare imaging workflows, including data ingestion, storage, retrieval, interoperability, and migration scenarios.
- Support testing across distributed environments, deployment models, database configurations, APIs, and infrastructure components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, product management, DevOps, professional services, and customer support.

The ideal candidate has experience in software quality assurance, enterprise application testing, and structured validation processes. They should combine strong technical knowledge with analytical thinking and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a similar quality-focused engineering role.
- Experience testing enterprise software, client-server applications, distributed systems, and complex integrations.
- Strong understanding of verification and validation (V&V), regression testing, defect management, risk-based testing, and root cause analysis.
- Experience creating test plans, test cases, execution reports, and maintaining requirements traceability.
- Familiarity with Agile development environments, software development lifecycle processes, and release management practices.
- Experience using tools such as Jira, test management platforms, and quality management systems.
- Ability to validate databases, deployments, upgrades, APIs, and application workflows.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with healthcare IT environments, medical imaging technologies, DICOM, HL7, PACS, VNA platforms, or enterprise healthcare workflows.
- Familiarity with Linux administration, SQL/Oracle databases, containerized environments, automation frameworks, or performance testing tools is a plus.
