Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.
We want you as a talented Vibro-Acoustic Senior Engineer to help us in our mission by contributing to the development, justification and validation of our vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
In your capacity as a vibro-Acoustic Senior Engineer, your role will include:
To collaborate with the aerodynamic team for the definition of the environment during reentry.
To manage the models for acoustic and dynamic simulations.
To perform vibro-Acoustic simulations for launch and reentry phases.
To establish dynamic specifications for sub-systems and equipment.
To support acoustic testing from test preparation (writing of test plan, definition of instrumentation...) to test exploitation.
To effectively communicate and provide recommendations through the analysis, preparation, and presentation of technical data.
To write technical documentation and participate to reviews.
To contribute to the creation and improvement of mechanical analysis tools.
What we would love to see from you
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
In-depth knowledge of Vibro-Acoustics, acoustics, vibrations.
Strong experience with Finite Element Models simulations.
Strong experience with acoustic and vibration testing.
Experience with programming (Python, Matlab...) is a plus.

Fluent in English. Knowledge of German, French and Italian is an asset.
